Sterile vessels are mainly used in the pharmaceutical & Biotech industries for process application. Sterile vessel design is unique with Torispherical dishes on top and bottom. The vessel internal is complete electropolished. The vessel is insulated with chlorine free ceramic wool to avoid heat loss. The sterile vessel will be either jacketed or non- jacketed with agitator, ports for temperature, pH, DO conductivity, Safety relief valve and filter housings on the top of the vessel. Sterile vessel based on their application magnetic drives can be positioned either on top or bottom of the vessel. The sterile vessel is designed to carry out the CIP – Clean in place and SIP – Steam in place and completely sterilised. The sterile vessel is connected with the steam, WFI, Air,Nitrogen and drain lines. Drain lines are provided with the temperature sensors to record the drain temperature. Sterile vessels in pharma industry are movable and connections to the pipelines to vessel will be through sterile braided silicone pipes. Movable sterile vessels are provided with load cells and wheels with lock facility.
